- Vee Bee Guitar School -
Where and What: VeeBee Guitar School is ran from the same building as Vee Bee Recording Studio and caters for guitar students from total beginners to advanced improvers in styles ranging from Rock, Metal and Blues to Country and Jazz. Students: Most of the students are beginners and are learning to play acoustic guitar, but the Guitar School also has a number of highly advanced young guitarists mostly in the Rock genre. One of the best students came 3rd in the 2003 U.K Young Guitarist of The Year (competition?) and is still a student. Students who play electric guitar can avail of the use of both guitars and amps provided, and a range of Fender Strats, and Telecasters, Ibaneze JS model, Yamaha, Takamine acoustic guitars. Amps are either Fender or Marshall. Teaching Style: The tuition is ran in small groups to ensure a high degree of individual attention is given to all students. These groups are highly informal and relaxed. Some of the group sessions are conducted in a workshop style, featuring question and answer sessions.
